Emmaus Anglican Church

Small Groups

Small groups are an important part of Emmaus. They are meant to be a place in which we can grow in our knowledge and love of God within the context of a close-knit group. For more information contact: smallgroups@emmausanglicanchurch.com

Various groups meet in different locations throughout the city:

This small group meets Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM in Verdun. We currently are studying a book entitled, “Discipleship on the Edge,” by Darrell Johnson. This is a compilation of sermons by the author on the texts of Revelation. We have our study from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM and finish with prayer about 9:30 PM.

Women’s Bible Study

The women’s bible study meets Wednesday mornings at 10:15am at Isaiah 40 (5867 Côte St. Antoine, Montreal). Please join us as we worship God through song and Scripture, Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. For more information contact: wbs@emmausanglicanchurch.com

This small group meets every Wednesday night at Christian Direction (1450 Rue City Councillors – 5th floor, Intervarsity staff room) at 7:00pm. Currently we are following Peter through the Gospels. Most of our meetings follow the manuscript Bible study method, where we analyze a small portion of Scripture in-depth with observation, interpretation, and application. We also have a modern media night at least once a month, during which we discuss sermons, TED talks, or podcasts.

South-West (Pointe St. Charles/St. Henri/Verdun)

This small group meets every other Friday evening at 6:00 PM in Pointe St. Charles. We share a meal together, worship in song, pray Evening Prayer, and fellowship together.
