Pastoral Care

The Apostle Paul said to the church in Galatia: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Gal. 6:2) At Emmaus Anglican Church we consider it a joy and a privilege to love and care for one another in the way of Jesus. This care happens informally, as God’s people encourage, support, help and pray for one another. And this care happens formally as well; Emmaus’ Pastoral Care Team offers the following services to the people of Emmaus:

Care Teams

Emmaus’ Care Team offers help in immediate and practical areas of need. The Care Team seeks to care for people who are in need of a meal, a driver for appointments, or other types of practical help.  For more information please contact: careteam@emmausanglicanchurch.com

Prayer Teams

Experienced, trained prayer teams are available at the end of every Sunday service to pray with you. The prayer teams seek to walk alongside their brothers and sisters in bringing prayers and supplications before our loving God.  On the first Sunday of each month there is an Intercessory prayer Time from 9:30-10:15am, held in the conference room on the main floor at PC. Each month there is a special focus for prayer. For more information please contact: prayer@emmausanglicanchurch.com

Visitation

If you are in need of a friendly visit at home or at the hospital, or know of someone who is, please contact us. It is a joy to be in the presence of Jesus with you (Matt. 18:20).
